I've ordered from then quite a few times, just got an order in a week ago. Always arrives in a timely fashion and I've never had a problem.
One unusual thing about them; the way you find out if something is out of stock is that you just don't get it. They don't call or e-mail you if they are...
I recently did a head gasket set with a home-made tool like the one in the link above. It's a very tight fit behind the oil cooler, but with a little "adjusting" of my tool (via bench grinder) I got it done!
Welcome,
There are several members here in the OKC area that can supply you with a titled Deuce.
I see M1075 has left a post for you, he is one of the members that I'd recommend.
The weight of the tandems will not pull it all loose.
Put a bottle jack between the frame crossmember and the "tube" that goes from one side of the tandem to the other (don't know the official name for that part). Use some wood blocks to spread the load and do one side then the other. It will...
Use a cutting torch to burn the centers out then an air chisel to knock them out.

When I first bobbed mine I kept track of milage. At that time I was running stock tires.
As Wreckerman said, milage is very dependent on how far you push the RPMs.
I tend to drive around 2300 rpm or so, about 50 mph, and get about 10 to 12 mpg. If you push it to 2600, about 56 mph, it will...
If you didn't do the 8" lift it would be an easy project, the lift complicates things like steering, etc.
Without the lift, it wouldn't be an expensive project.... one deuce, one set of springs for the rear axle, one modified driveshaft and some big tires.
You could easily spend more money...
For what it is worth, you do not have to replace the COPPER washers. What you do need to do is: remove the copper washer from the injector, clean it well (no soot or crud, use sandpaper if necessary), heat it red hot with a torch (propane works best for me), let it cool slowly (don't dump water...

Congratulations! Maybe with a little more cleaning and some "tire black" you can take 1st next year!
I don't think anyone should ever worry "being out of place" at a car show, car guys are car guys pretty much no matter what kind of vehicle.
I'm a member of both my local Jaguar and Mercedes...
Jesusgatos,
I think you're correct, you could weld them onto the axle tube. I had not considered that because I'm not a certified welder and I'd never trust my own welds in something critical like that!
Jesusgatos,
You might be on to something!
If only we could mount a deuce bed on a deuce bogie, extend the frame far enough forward so that there is room for a steering axle, motor and someplace to sit... then we could have the greatest "self propelled trailer" in the world!
Unforgiven,
No, the trailer axles aren't going to be easy to use. The axle attachment plates use bolts to hold the axles and the trailer axles are just to big for the bolts to clear. Jesusgatos is correct, a set of deuce axles with the axle shafts removed and third members pulled is the...
