RE: Mule tires
Some of you may hate this but...what is the biggest tire size you've put on a mule rim? I'm seriously looking at the Interco super swamper. will the 25 x 9.50 x 10 work on original rims? Any rubbing? Your thoughts???
Very clean and practical modification. I'm thinking thru this mod. My new M/C doesn't have the breather tube out the top of the cap. It only has 2 small holes on each side of the hex portion of the cap. This cap is different than the M/C I took off the truck. I also can't interchange the...
Thanks Will. I hope to deal with them in the future and I'm sure others will feel better about your feedback. To Dave at Barstow, I look forward to working with you in the future...thanks.
I didn't realize it was the front axle. It is the axle seal. The oil is mixing with the grease and washing out the grease from the U-joints. Top off the oil, grease the heck out of it and run your errand.
Sounds like axle seal and or cork gasket to me as well. Easy to fix and plenty of info here on how to do it. Just search the deuce forum. That's how I fixed mine.

I had a similar problem. Brake pedal got harder as you drove. Got the point that the brakes locked up. If you let it sit, it was all good again. had no freeplay...still didn't fix it. Changed master cylinders and upon...
I just got myself a pretty nice M274 mule.
2 Cylinder engine,
electric start,
aluminum deck,
4 wheel steer,
starts right up,
Best part, the wife loves it!
I'll be looking for manuals, parts etc so don't be afraid to PM me with lots of offers.
I'll be flying back on Saturday from Tacoma WA so Sunday would be better. Would that work? My flight arrives at 10:30am so if I needed to, I could go straight from the airport to the taco stand. Let me know your thoughts.
Matt,
Definitely hang out on this site and read, read, read. I spent about a year studying and understanding deuces before I bought one. If you're mech. enclined and like BIG trucks, you'll be fine. I did my homework and now have a great truck. Don't get me wrong, they do need upkeep, but...
