Take all the unknowns out and rent a uhaul trailer and trailer it back home.
Then you can go through it at your leisure.
Especially for a long drive back.
CUCVRUS I wasn’t talking about the hydraulic hoses as cheap.
They are not and are a quality replacement.
Was as referring to the OPs blanket statement of going cheap and easy.
You know as well as I do a lot of guys take the cheap route, only to spend twice the price later when it fails...
I watched a lot worse condition ones sell for more than that last week on GP.
So I would say yes, you definitely would be money ahead.
Only you can determine if it’s worth it.
I would buy it
Well the TO for the unit, for whatever reason, is a controlled item.
You have to have special access just to look at it. Seriously, I’m not making this up!
(I think someone mentioned it was controlled earlier.)
All attempts for a copy have failed so far.
Still waiting to hear from a source...
Running that turbo wheel as is and you risk bearing failure or worse, the wheel will/could disintegrate at speed causing a lot of damage.
It’s like a grenade going off.
Your guaranteed an engine rebuild then with all the metal it will injest.
We had chinook that was ready to lift and the...
As noted, ACDelco still makes them.
There was a SS member who repaired his using AN fittings and braided hose.

I personally use two-cycle oil in all my diesels.
It's...
Agree on the weight and mass of the M105A2.
That is a big heavy trailer just sitting still.
I wouldn’t tow it with my 06 GMC duramax.
Even empty that is a lot of weight with no brakes.
M105A3 would be completely different with its surge brakes.
Also Recommend finding a M101A2.
Perfect...
Stock axle and factory NOS CUCV wheels. Wheels were still in box
Michelin E Rated tires 265-75R16
Take offs from my truck when I installed a new set.
Little wider and shorter but they work just fine.
The trailer had a ton of different racks mounted on the bed and sides of the inside.
So once all these were off, it left a LOT of holes. Way to many for rain and dirt to find its way inside.
Debated on just welding them up, but maybe someday might need them.
So instead of welding up over 100...
Finally installed NOS fiberglass sides and gate. Definitely lighter than the wood.
Trailer came with one fiberglass gate when I bought it.
Second one is for the front gate modification.
Did same thing on my tan M101A2 and it’s extremely handy to have a front gate, in addition to the back...
