I plan to be the first one there again this year! If the M37 isn't ready, I'll bring my MKT to set up alongside Mike's, so they will have more room if anything else.
My wife and I use a roll around AC, and just run the hose out the little front door. We are going to go to a window unit in the front though, easier and doesn't take up floor space.
I had this happen to me in a A2 coming home from the 07 East Coast Convoy. Luckly, the wire on the alt just burned off before it really damanged anything. It wasn't crimped well and that saved a lot of stuff.
On a freezing, snowy night on I-81 in the Virginia mountains, I had the #4 line break on my 2004 dodge diesel. I plugged it on the common rail with the tip of one of my wife's crocheting needles, and drove the last 150 miles to my folks place on 5 cylinders. I could tell but it wasn't that bad...
My tanker is a M967, which is the bulk hauler, no hoses or filter either. I have only ever seen 5k military tankers (or less)
Over on FT Jackson, they are rolling in with tons of the M967a1, brand new. Same exact tanker, just on 22.5 rims and tires, and they have a vapor recovery system, which...
Opps, guess I shouldn't have put the 400 gallons of diesel I drained out of the locomotive here at work back in the tank after draining it to replace the leaking drain valve...
I've been burning anything and everything in my deuce, m818, and 2004 dodge 2500 for years. Haven't had any issues...
Anyone put a manual in a M915? I've got a lead on one missing a transmission that I am thinking of getting and putting a 13speed in.
I think with the SAE bellhousing it would just be a simple parts scrounging exercise, right?
Monday night at 3am I was coming home in the semi and there was a crew with about 5 trucks doing some maintenance, and there was a state trooper riding along in their little convoy. He was watching a MOVIE on his laptop, WHILE driving with this group at about 40mph. I couldn't get a car number...
Neil! Neil! Neil! He's helped me out more times than I can remember. Good thing he keeps reminding me of each and everyone every single time we talk! lol
Just Kidding! Neil is a great guy!
The whole thing holding us up with the MC reinstall is the push rod is frozen on the yoke, I can not get it to free up or to get the pin out to open the yoke up and clean it up. I'll probably pull out the whole pedal assembly, to drive that pin out on a bench. I want to replace all the lines...
I've been in mine cleaning it out several times. No way anyone could stay in one comfortably. There are 6 baffles, the two up on the nose are too small for my hips to get through. the floor is sloped to the center. All the welds and edges in the tank are rough- I always end up bleeding somewhere...
lol I love those threads, it was my M109.
Anywho, the reason I talk about stolen horns is we have had two sets of leisle 5 chimes stolen from the SC RR museum. They both were stolen after the first trip down the line with them installed- so A)someone heard them, just had to have them, and took...
I am put out! Came alongside Clinto in my LWB Chevy, and tried to wave at Clinto! He was so fixed on the road, he never saw me! Looks like you had things well in hand, so I left you. (EMD567, posting under Ferro's sgn name)
Hey, I need a set of those horns for my locomotive. All kidding aside, I have seen them mounted to the front fender. Just make sure you weld the nuts, so the horn doesn't walk off.
