Steel Soldiers MV of the month December 2020

Cannot we make a rule that contestants have to post at least one canvassing post, and a link to a thread on the competing MV? I know that many of these vehicles have interesting and sometimes moving stories that should be shared.

Some very strange wiley coyote contraptions: caspian sea monster and underwater aircraft carrier

I think the Caspian contraption could handle up to 8 - 9 feet waves, turns probably would be not as rapid as hover crafts, but no idea. As to the I-400, bad weather off course was the major problem especially when recovering the planes.

Some very strange wiley coyote contraptions: caspian sea monster and underwater aircraft carrier

This would make a perfect couple as MVs for somebody living near a lot of water: The Caspian Sea Monster - "Lun" ekranoplan. Don't expect to see this plane taking off, its supposed to skim over the water with a horrifying speed and fire rockets while doing so. Another contraption that...

    Galerie Active Duty M880

Great pics. For those who don't know it: REFORGER details. My truck came from the POMCUS in Ter Apel, Netherlands First post, third picture, looks like a small military or civilian airport in the back. Looks like some pics are from Germany, but I can't read the signs on the pubs in the pics.

    5 Ton CDL?? (Indiana)

As you see, the question is not exactly new, and always get lots of reactions. As disclaimer: serious :soapbox: :deadhorse:  ahead Here is my older thread, nine pages long, on this topic. In short. Do you NEED a CDL when driving a 5 ton: in my opinion YES Are you legally...

To tow or not to tow that is the question! Peterbilt w/MV tow bar 6x6 cornbinder

Can't you do it like this? The Pete is strong enough for it. The picture is taken at Mile 422 Alaska Highway late March 1981. .. .. (I want to go back there, I miss it ) I like the Pete, can I come and drive it? I can visit the museum next door as well, looks great.

    M54A2 power steering question

Who would that be? Kids are long out of the house and have kids of their own and my better half is not sure what she dislikes more: computers or trucks. (disclaimer: she works almost full-time with PCs, is better than average in it, just doesn't like work with programs that don't work like...

    M54A2 power steering question

Yes Yes, I would and did consider it, but unfortunately, that is a big It would go against the forum rules and the purchase agreement. I bought this one personally, with a clear agreement that it will not be published online or sold further. So I don't mind sharing it with individual...

Official 2020 Georgia Military Vehicle Rally (20GMVR) information thread

OK Olga's brother got their meadows back in restitution, only it turned out the communists had built a small airfield for agriculture spraying partly on those meadows. That should be big enough for a C5A or C-17. From there, its only 12 miles to the workshop. Actually, I found my own truck in...

Dual wheels on front of a deuce

These front wheels look awfully small somehow, like pre-war tires
