Ditto. Converted to 12v probably. Very savable/restorable.

    Hurricane Florence

I'm not close to significantly ready. No Gen yet and house is surrounded by trees, at least most are away from the house. I have a setup for a Gen, grounding rod already installed, right by the main, put a privacy fence up to hide it visually, even a shore power plug I can reconfigure to charge...

    possible miltary jeep??

And the M38 became the CJ2 series and was produced for years after M38 production stopped.

    Shield Deuce

I am...was... The system I used us now gone, and the replacement doesn't work the same. I've tried it, and it's just a very laborious process, if it works. I have to be more precise and access one to two other systems to get the answer that used to be produced all in one. There's more details...

    Surplus Auction for Humvees

You have a lot of reading to do. HMMWVs have been sold via auction for a couple years now. There are variations per state on title restrictions, and on how they come out of auction. Just start reading through the HMMWV forum and some of the title and auction threads.

CUCV hot wire and steering lock

Check if the 1986 K5 blazer/pickup will fit. If so, you're good. Otherwise, I'd personally go with their largest car-hauler vs. the tow dolly, although I know it's more expensive.

M116A3 with 2000 GMC 1 Ton Van Wheels

I'm pretty sure those are the same style I have on my M880 to replace the 16.5s that you have issues getting tires for.

Pickup from Portsmouth VA / St. Julien's Creek?

Just wanted to say Thanks to David here! Not only did he arrange to get my motorcycle down to NC, when I went to pick it up and (surprise) it's a bit bigger than thought, lent me his trailer to get it home. Great guy, and a heck of a good deal for me.

Can't Find Info On My M998

Wazu, Make sure you thank that contact and tell him we are all fascinated in looking into this thing. Hopefully no black Tahoes show up with a trailer to collect anything!

Humvee brackets would like to identify

NDT, not so much on the convoy ahead sign. Plus, that can change by convoy, serial or commander or break down, there'd be no reason that would be financially responsible to install on every vehicle, they are for CID panels.

    M886 Commo Truck Build

It looks like a 77, based on the fact there's no space below the headlights for turn signals... but since I haven't actually messed with one in person I could be wrong.

    M886 Commo Truck Build

Looks like a 76 grill on a 77 chassis. I've found success with parts through the various classic Dodge pickup pages on Facebook.

Can't Find Info On My M998

Not DoD approved modification AFAIK. Outside of Banks Turbo kit and similar upgrades, I've never heard of something like this. That alternator would be the first thing to get damaged or removed via ground or forklift. Air filter is non-standard... Lots of interesting stuff, well done, but...

    M101A3 marking question

Oye, this'll be interesting. In the Army Hierarchy, Corps Headquarters are about the largest unit that will deploy. We still technically have Army headquarters, but these days they don't tend to go anywhere. We also have Geographic Combatant Commands, usually aligned with each of the major...
