I would recommend using the A3 beadlock inserts like HDN has pictured. The A3 wheels and beadlocks are designed to be used with each other. They are very easy to remove, and installation is easy with a ratchet strap.
I was told by Allison that the transmission was designed for Dexron 3 and that any other ATF, including Dexron VI, would degrade the O-rings and seals in the transmission, and cause premature failure. I'm running Dexron 3 in my A3 and it was a significant improvement over the motor oil...
I found some of this hose on Ebay years ago sold by the foot and it was real cheap at the time. I also replaced the short piece on the outside of the air cleaner from a different vendor on Ebay a few months ago. I think I paid ~$20.00 for the short piece with free shipping.
I have several gallons of DOT 5 I purchased on Ebay for a cheap price. When I see it advertised with a low price, I buy it. My local auto parts stores all carry DOT 5 in stock, but the price is very high.
The M1030M1 USMC diesel motorcycle sold for $16,500.00 plus a Buyers Premium of 10% for a total of $18,150.00. I am very pleased with this result as my M1030M1 looks better than the one that sold on Mecum and I have no idea how well the Mecum Auction bike ran. Mine runs perfect. Plus, I...
There is an M1030M1 featured on Mecum Auction in Houston April 13 - 15. Not sure what date it will be sold. It will be interesting to see how much it goes for with such high publicity. Still not interested in selling mine.
I know you stated that the brake lights stay on after the pedal is released, but do the brakes stay on after the pedal is released. If the brakes don't stay on, I would suspect a faulty brake light switch.
You should keep the trailer as is. It is a very nice trailer and the surge brakes work great and are significantly better than no brakes. Just get a pintle hitch for your 2" receiver. Pintle hitches are much more secure than ball hitches. If the hitch on the towing vehicle is too low, you...
I've been very pleased with Eastern Surplus. I've bought two trucks from Eastern, a FLU419 and most recently an M151A2. I have used the FLU419 extensively on my property digging trenches. I'm in the process of stripping and painting the M151A2, which also runs great. When picking up the...
I finally got around to pulling the plate from around the shifter. It was actually much easier than I imagined. However, other projects have gotten in the way of troubleshooting further, but I hope to get back to it this weekend. I do plan on using some soapy water to further check for air...
I have always added zeros in front of the serial number to total 17 digits for use as a VIN replacement and never had a problem with State Farm, Hagerty or Progressive insurance companies, or the tag office. I've used all three insurance companies and am currently using Hagerty and Progressive...
Your problem is likely the oil pressure sensor if your Onan works like the Onan military gensets. You have to hold the start switch in the start position for a period of time after the oil pressure comes up prior to releasing the switch. For my MEP003A genset, it requires holding the switch in...
If an insurance company is involved, the insurance company likely owns it now. If the guy still has it and no insurance company is involved, show up with $1500.00 in cash and see what happens. You can always go up. I would say $3000.00 is max, but I personally wouldn't go over $2500.00. You...
