Not by me, so no violation, I hope.

Just thought I should put this link here (hope I did not do it earlier already). If nothing else, it gives a nice impression on what kind of stuff you can buy in the Czech Republic at this moment. Some really really nice things but man, are...
Help needed with remaking an M5xA2 exhaust
As you can see, my exhaust is a bit kaput. Tried to find replacement in the Netherlands and here, no dice. So it will be a welding job. I thought to take several tube parts with bends in them, and then start welding them together, or just weld some...
Sometimes, people have very intriguing avatars or interesting vehicles in the avatar, but you just can't make out that little detail you would like to see. Is there a way to see an avatar in bigger size?
Or maybe have a clickable avatar in our public profile that gives it full size like a...
This guy has some serious tracks in his garden. And some some nice wheels as well. Thought I will separate them.
Here are the Urals.
On the front left fender was written VRAA (on both trucks). Any idea?
I don’t know about you, but this guy certainly can and does. The shield in front of his house certainly is no joke.
:drool::drool: :jumpin::jumpin:
The guy has one operational T34, one partly stripped T34 for restoring, two engineers tracks based upon the T34, (maybe recovery or...
Thanks to some helpful members with a better memory, found back some very useful threads. What I would like to do now is following.
In the 5- ton section (or 5-ton and deuce,) make a sticky or wiki section with repair tricks.
Let’s copy those threads there. Then I will re-read them...
There are too many posts here.
Somewhere last autumn (September - November?) somebody posted a series of very good pics on taking apart and replacing or repairing the brakes on his truck. Very accurate description and pics. Forgot to bookmark that and now am trying to find that thread back...
I am making a tractor out of our dump truck. I have all the stuff ready. Unexpected question and maybe problem now.
The standard 5-ton M39 army tractors have the 5th wheel plate connected directly to the top flange (right word?) of the frame. They also have a spacer plate between the assembly...
We are trying to get our truck back to original and want to use and display it also as troop carrier.
Does anybody has pictures of a dump truck used as troop carrier we could use for our exhibition?
The dump truck has a shorter base and dump bed than the standard cargo truck - troop...
Hibernation is over and I am gearing up to get back to work on the truck (1973 M51A2). Just trying to compare some prices.
Most important: how much would a reliable used steering house (Ross Hydrapower type) would set me back, anybody has one laying around?
How much for a good used original...
I was watching for the first time some of the auction action on the GL website. Noticed that two hours after the close, the prices from the weblist do not tally with the actual final bids given in the vehicle lot details?
For example, I was looking at the three 920s up for auction tonight...
From another thread a remark on how my pictures appeared.
To my knowledge, I always did the same procedure. However, in the same thread, earlier pictures were attached as thumbnails and later pictures as full images you can't enlarge.
No idea how I managed that. Checked with mangus' post on...
When aprking for the winter, do people take specail precautions regarding the fuel in the lines?
Normally, we have winter and summer diesel here. Mine still has summer diesel, but I will not be using it anymore until April. Should I take any specail precautions?
Title says it all, except: how manby liters in the LSD 465 - 1a?
Making the truck ready a?for winter, no idea if the previous owner ever put anti-freeze there. Temps almost never go below 15 Fahrenheit here along the Dutch North Sea cost. Any modern car anti-freeze will do I suppose?
I am busy with the M51 to M52 switch, and am now looking at where to place the air and electrical connections for the semi-trailer. Looking at some of pictures and video's of the M52A2, it seems to me that they moved the spare wheel about 10" more to the driver side. The original vertical...
Tried to remove the starter button but can not get it out of its hole because it gets blocked behind the dash by a steel plate or something. Tried wiggeling and everything. Any tricks?
Or do I really need to pull the entire dash from left to right away to get to this stupid button (if so...
Does anybody has a wirding diagram for the M52A2 truck?
Diagrams exist for the Deuce and the 800 series, but none for the M5xA2 series?
People tried finding a general 5-ton M5x wiring diagramyears ago in this thread, without success it sems. Anything new?
What's the proper name for those feder parts or side panels that are below the fender level and run from the chassis to the fender, with those airslits in it. protecting the engine compartment?
Read somewhere and saw a video on a 800 series, that for easy access, you can quite easy remove...
While idling a bit, the engine in a short time suddenly threw out almost all oil without me noticing it. Turned out the starter had been running as well all the time due to a stuck starter button, and I sprang an air leak.
That’s the short version.
Long version. We changed oil...
