    MEP 802a Will Not Start.

It seems to me that if I have power going into the S1 switch I should be getting power out, unless it's a defective switch. I believe that S1-7 is the terminal for the starter. Am I correct?

    MEP 802a Will Not Start.

I saw that info on the generator's side panel but I wasn't sure what 'common' meant. I'm not an electrician: though I have done a considerable amount of electrical work. The company claimed that it was the correct part. I posted a couple more photos below.

The switch is an import from a company in France or Spain. I don't remember which.

    MEP 802a Will Not Start.

This is a new (to me) machine. (It is a 1997 model.) This machine has very few hours on it, but was stripped for parts. I replaced several parts including the S1 switch because the original switch had been removed. Here is a Picture of the relays.

    MEP 802a Will Not Start.

    MEP-802a Parts Question

    MEP-802a Parts Question

Okay. Thank you very much. It is difficult to replace parts until you know what parts are needed. LOL Any idea where those parts can be purchased or what I can substitute for the original part?

    MEP-802a Parts Question

I recently bought a MEP-802a generator at an auction. It has been used for parts and I am trying to replace them. I have never worked on one before and I am trying to ascertain exactly what parts are missing. I've replaced the oil filter, master switch, emergency stop switch etc. but there...
