She is not in operation yet but here she is. I got 8 of the smaller military filters and 4 of the large type. I just plan to curculate till the cat comes home or till the filter show to much restriction.
I am waiting for Steel Soldier #2 to comferm my findings but I think I have found a way to find top dead center compression stroke without removing the valve cover and watching the first valve in the head which is the intake. I know it does not take much time to remove the valve cover but if it...
So I made the jump today and put together the pressure gage for the PT's
NAPA had everything I needed plus hyd. fittings and they made me the hose. Used a swivel fitting on the PT end and hooks up in no time. I started playing with the M816 and here is what found. First I drilled out the ball on...
I did not find in what TM's I have for the drop box but I do believe both the cases need to be check. The forward and the main case look like they are on the same level but I'm not certain the oil will migrate from one to another. If someone has the TM showing that we don't need to check both...

6ton electric van. I going to pull the hubs but im thinking they are Deuce wheel cylinders. Also I might need a Master cylinder. Anyone had one apart or know about the master cylinder / wheel cyl. and if the master can still be had. Thanks

Drove the truck home yeaterday and when I get to 4th high the predetonation knock starts. Can this be the injectors to tight giving me advanced timming.
When repairing the sprag air cylinder M809 series put the running or aired up truck in reverse and leave it there. Shut off truck . Next air down the tanks and begin the repair. This will help you remove the cylinder as it is a little tight to get off but it will come off. Then I have found the...
M816 needed the transfer case sprag air cyl. rebuilt today.
While I was doing that I tested the sprag shaft to see if it has a Netrual return. It has been awhile since I did the last repair on a air cyl. and I did not check to see if the sprag shaft would go into forward and reverse sprag plus...
Have a friend that would like to put a 817 dump bed on a Deuce so has anyone done this or know the problems. I know the pto is not going to work as is or wrong side The control linkage will have to be thought up. I did have a M817 that had a pto and and pump in one unit and a plate modified that...
Was thinking about useing a Deuce fuel tank on a bobber project. Do you think that maybe the decreased outlet size on the deuce tank fitting or the use of the intank pump with the Deuce tank would hurt or cause problems with the Cummins PT.
