Above the oil cooler lines is a little square headed set screw. It is blocking a pressurized oil gallery. That is probably the best place to put another gauge sender.

The trouble with just bending a regular neoprene hose is the radius of the curves are to tight and it will kink. Braided stainless steel hose can do the curves without kinking. However, with hose clamp nipples on each end AN fittings that work aren’t cheap.
