There is a meetup out in Barstow April 7th - 11th. A group of guys who host it come up from Irvine and other areas down there. You could probably convey up with them. Here is the link.

I dont know anyone that has put 53s on the stock rims, you could try or you could get a set of 395s. They have been put on those rims. You may be able to get away with running one wheel on each side on the mid axle and see if the other 8 hold.
That sucks, what rims are you trying to use? 53s will probably be a royal pain to try and put on stock rims. I'm sure it can be done but most likely not advised. When are you planning on getting the truck?
FastNova,
Thanks again for putting everything together, had a great time!!! It was great meeting seeing everyone out there and meeting some new people. Here are is the pic we took down at the Lakebed. Hope everyone made it back safely with no problems.
Thanks, I'll let him know what you can do. "update to the situation" He changed all 3 filters and was able to get it up to 45mph. Oil pressure is good, electric fuel pump is working, no leaks. He says it begs down a bit in 5th on a mild incline. The truck does have 11r20s on it and this is...
He is gonna change out the fuel filters first. I did run it out of fuel accidentally a couple days ago. He looked at all the wheels and other then an axle seal leak everything looks fine.
