Theres no bumper height restrictions in the state of Iowa. And yes I already there is no marriage restrictions either. The latter definitly was'nt MY IDEA so don't blame!
I'm building my shorty,and raising it 8" by using a frame off of another deuce. I want to mount the steering box in the lower frame. This means I"ll have to extend my streering column and put a u-joint in it. Can anyone tell me why the electrical wire goes clear down into the steering box? I...
Just did one! I used a 2way electric over hyd pump from Baum hyds and a 3"x14" cyl with a single spool valve. If its going to be street legal you have to put a positive mechical locking pin to center tires. But thats not a big deal. You'll love it!!
I have 4 brand new 52" radial tires just wandering how much lift it will take so there won't be alot of modifications such as exhaust, fender rub, ect. How do you modify your steering arm? Or would it be easier to try to sell or trade them for some smaller ones? I'm bobbing it
I,m building my first shorty, and have all of the heads off of the rivets. But I'm really having a very hard time driving the rivets out? Maybe I'll have to drill em huh! Also looking for all of the spring to axle mounts off the front end of a deuce if I can find them at reasonable price.aua
