We are going through the brake lines and wheel cylinders so I'm not too worried about dual circuit brakes yet but it is something that we have been considering. Thank y'all for your help!
Ok, I have read a bunch of forums on power steering for a deuce. What I'm wondering is what the best power steering gear would be while still being able to go in the frame. I don't like the look of the Waterloo kit and and I don't like the idea of cutting up a fender. I've also read that those...
Yea that would work better than my plan. My plan was kind of tucking the ends under the cover it wasn't going to look the best but it would work, but I like your idea way better.
Thank you for your help. That is pretty disappointing but I think I could probably make it work with some folding at the ends. I've heard of some people putting 5ton covers on deuces so I'm not to worried about it. Once again thank you for your help.
I recently acquired a Tri Color Camo cover and have some questions. Both end curtains are for a deuce, found that out after looking up part numbers. But the cover itself seems to be too big. It is 15ft long and 14ft wide. The only number on it is 01365-88036A7100. I found one post about it on...
It is plugged in. Which is why I think it's the air switch but I'll probably disconnect it to clean the connectors. But thank y'all for the help. I'll get to it as soon as possible.
Hey y'all, I was wondering where the air pressure switch for the low air buzzer is on the deuce. The low air buzzer hasn't worked the entire time we've had the truck (little more than a year).
Eureka!!
Apparently the problem was in the foot dimmer switch. After taking it out and checking for ground, we cleaned the attachment area in the cab and undercarriage, removed wiring and cleaned, replaced everything, reattached....low and behold 24v at the headlight buckets.
Such an easy...
No, only one bulb worked. But we were not getting anything at the connectors. We ordered some new bulbs, but we are stumped on the wiring to the headlights.
Yes, they do. When we tested the headlight connections, we went through low and high beams and nothing. We tested the ground on both headlights and grounds are fine. We were wondering if we should take apart the dimmer switch just incase it had corrosion but we decided not to because that's a...
