been working so much haven't had time to do anything for myself... i was hoping to get something goin before January since this seems to be the slow time of the year for me starting now till then.
LOL nice... that's how mine looks... I towed it 496 miles home without a plate... But now the local flashlight cops are gonna probably say something about it if there isn't one on there...
So I have my M101A1 up for sale on Craigslist now that I have my A2... On the A1, the license plate was mounted on the tailgate right in the center towards the top as you can see in my avatar. On my new A2 I would like to mount it so that I can retain the star that's painted in the center of...
+1 ... I was going down the same route as you but then found a sweet deal on GL for an A2... $349 bought the A2 and the A1 should sell for 6-700 on CL. Plus you can put almost any chevy 8 lug wheel on the A2.
$400 is probably not a bad deal, I paid $700 for my A1... Just depends on where you look and whats around you... If there is something on GL near you you may be able to cut that price and get something twice as nice...
I had to do the same thing when my lights fell off... glad I put some zip ties at first on em just so they wouldn't fall on the ground... Congrats on the recovery...
I just cut the plug off the end and put a 7-way connector on it and left it be... If one of the wires ever goes bad, there are spares... You can also charge your onboard batteries with them.
