Maybe gvwr was the wrong term, but I was with the DOT guy and his scales under each tire. Each axle added together came out to 54000, i was trying to find the axle break down but can't, it's been a few years. So until I can run it over a scale again, let's say it is 54000, load range L I assume...

Sorry, It is the CMTV version and I looked up when we had the DOT come and weigh each axle it came out to 54000lbs GVWR.

The diode replacement seemed to have done it. It is acting much better. New problem, we ordered a new magneto for another generator same model. It is slick aircraft model 2220. Does anyone have a diagram or drawing for the wiring on it? We are having trouble figuring out where to attach the wire...

We've been ordering parts from Saturn. I don't think they have any. I found another thread that the guy was having the same problem as us. The starter won't shut off. We are going to try and replace the diode behind the panel. The diode looked pretty cruddy. Thanks for the help.

After tinkering with two of these gen sets we got for free. One genset has a K3 relay that is bad. These things are hard to find. Has anybody rewired to still have the starter work on this Gen Set? Any diagrams or feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks. Dan
