quick question, what is the fitting sticking out of the front of the hydraulic head with two lines on top and bottom? Are they return lines? If so which is the main return line?

I've searched some but can't find where there is a surplus store to buy a pump. Also, is there a primer on the IP, because i'm getting fuel to the IP but its not wanting to start and run. i don't want to use ether to get it to run, what kind of problems might i be running into? Thanks

My Duece is having the same problem, it will run on a quick shot of ether for about 10 secs and die its got compression and timing plus the engine was rebuilt in 1989. The pump is getting fuel from the tank, and the lines have been bled. BTW i'm not using a lot of ether don't want scoring...
