As I recall, there were two studs on the trans side that I hung the gasket on. I also used copper gasket spray to ensure a good seal. Of course cleaning the area first is a critical step.

I finally got me some new sneakers! First one almost all put back together. Had a hard time finding the correct tan color in flat locally, so I just went with black. I needed to clean up some rust that was beginning.

Understood…. I have three laptops. None of which have a serial port to include an old engineering laptop. That’s running Win 7 ( never connected to the web) and a newer running Win 11.
I do have a MacBook, but would obviously be needing the serial adapter .

I believe the grid heater is working. But I can check it. I wonder if there is a learning curve with the ECM for the new IDP, the old one certainly was not functioning properly. The ECM I’m sure was trying to compensate for it somehow.
