Much Obliged! Me and @patracy got the grill, turn signal guards, headlight buckets, ect in this evening, so when the camoing begins it’ll all blend together nicely on all the parts… I’ll get those pictures up soon as I get the brown and black layed on!
Well, got most of the 383 down. Had a few hiccups I had to iron out, but it’s looking a lot better! Maybe in the next day or so, after some dry time(this stuff is drying fairly fast) before our warm weather leaves, I’ll get the brown and black on.
Tip of the day: Dustless blasting is awesome. The down side it you have to pressure wash and blow out(I used a leaf blower) every single nook and cranny as the sand gets everywhere. Some places, I have no idea how it got there. Not that I’ve got most of the sand out of the areas for paint, maybe...

I’d like to encourage you all to vote for “Smokey”. He ran a tight race last month, and not only would it thrill Andrew to win this month, but it would also thrill me after the...
@patracy can probably tell more, but the Tach in his M1008 says Diesel on the face(like you have pictured), and is band clamped to the passenger side alternator housing. It reads off the alternator, I’m guessing similar to how a reluctor wheel works. How it was calibrated, he’d have to answer that.
I’m familiar with Imron brand stuff. Should hold up to whatever you throw at it. Looks like you got a good start on reviving the old truck. I’ll be following for the finished product.
