Motor swap is done and driving, but The Transfer case on my civ truck makes alot of noise when driving. Does anybody know if the transfer cases are the same from the automatic to the stick shift?

Both motors are out and changing out brackets and flywheel.

I have a 1986 m1009 that got totaled out. the motor is still good and i was wanting to know what all i need to take off the engine to make it work in my 1986 3/4 gmc that has a blown 6.2 civilian diesel in it.

I have a m1009 and want to know what is the best 6 inch lift to use and what gears do i need, to run 35 inch tall tires? :driver:

I had dual glasspacks on my 1985 chevy 3/4 6.2 diesel and it wasn't to loud, just has a different sound than a gas truck but it still sounds good and tough.

both gen light come on when i turn the inginition on and the gen 1 light goes out after starting

does anybody know what the little wire is that goes from the postive junction block to the negative junction block on the fire wall behind the back battery or what it does

in went out today and checked all the connections and checked both alts the driver side is still showing 12.7 volts and the passenger side is showing 14 volts, now i;m really confused on what going on with this truck.

i can run it about three days and then the front battery is dead enough that it will not help the back battery start the truck, when i got the truck everything was working for a week gauges and all and then now this.
