Guys, Has anyone out there switched out the massive alternator for this Alternator Upgrade? My OEM version is starting to squeal, so new bearing/rebuild maybe necessary. Someone on FB suggested this upgrade instead.. Pros and cons to this?

Yes, thank you as well.. I have the same unplugged connector and the other end hanging off that sensor on top of the fuel filter. Was going to hunt it down this weekend.. Issue resolved now.. Thank guys!

So, basically I can just pull off the cut connectors from the positive terminal and then tape up/terminate the loose wires?

What would be the reason for them to cut those?

Guys, One week old humvee owner (1999 M1123).. LOL Been looking through the TMs to see if I can figure out what these cut wires are on the outside of the battery box, coming off the positive side.. Looks like one label is 6B, can't seem to find that one and the other is just too hard to read...

Awesome, thank you... I've only had the humvee for one week, slowly checking out all the issues.. I have a few unplugged connectors and 4 cut wires coming off the external battery terminal by the frame.. trying to use the TMs to locate the labels, etc. It's like an Easter egg hunt! LOL

Damn, was wondering about that. Just haven't gotten to that switch yet, ordered the kit, just haven't installed it. Is it ok that the lines are open right now or should I plug until I get the switch installed?

I agree, I have an M1123 and have the remote reservoir.. Can't find anything in the TMs about a remote reservoir.. PLus, I have two additional lines coming off the remote reservoir that seem to have been cut.. Haven't been able to locate where they should go or what they really do..
