So I think I may have fixed it I swapped out the K-8 relay mainly because the light indicator in dash would also blink on /off with the lights and that circuit is connected to 87 on the relay / I ran the truck for 1/2 hour just idling and the problem is gone will take it to store later today ...

Yes just the headlights All are incandescent /Looking at wire diagrams and it hits two relays Wonder if the headlight relay could be bad .... going to keep tracing wire diagrams

so I added ground wire it did it again , replaced with my old switch .... did it again . I don't know where to start for this and its only low or the high beam that cycles on and off , lights are steady then it just starts slowly turning on and off . turn the switch off then on again its fine...

Think I may swap my old back in and see if it works

Yes I found it , already cleaned the connections on the polarity box , curious when the change from being the Polarity relay box went to being the newer LBCD .

Those are on the list today , although I don't remember ever seeing one on the starter will be going out to check soon

Thanks I believe it was the grounding strap I cleaned connections on grounding strap, Both 28V and 14V wires and terminals at battery . Seems to be working OK. Thanks for the quick responses greatly appreciated

Yes there is a different in size the top for all 4 are the same ( a smaller Bolt ) and bottoms are all the same , with that I went to a farm store and got some 8 lift arm bushings 1/1/8 to 7/8 reduction part number 228CO006TSC for the shock eyelets and these are fine for the lower bolt size ...

Yep that's the first place I went , the had larger non metric but no metric

Too big for the ones at local hardware , think the highest they have are M16 / Measuring it with my caliper I believe its M20 -2.5mm x 50mm
