Got another question, the truck is running again however when i am in drive it starts off in 2nd gear. I had the ecu reprogramed and thought that was the problem (did not fix anything). The programmer stated that the computer had a code pointing to the transmission temp sensor. I called...
I got some questions for the team where can I locate two door windows and the locking mechanisms for each door? I've been looking on eBay like crazy but I'm unable to find much.
all those questions are valid and you know what I really do not know as I do not know the history on this vehicle when it was told here it came on a pretty large flatbed but the problem is it came to my Construction company and it was offloaded without me even seeing it. I'm just crossing my...
so the mechanic pretty much took everything apart here and notice the shared bolts off the flywheel they feel that fixing this will get the truck started and it's worth a shot what do you guys think and thank you so much for all the help this has been a fun nightmare.
good day well I have good news and bad news I look at this as good news the mechanic checked everything out and found out Motor is good, flywheel not attached to crank shaft. not sure why the flywheel is not connected however I'll get right to the transmission thank you again for all your help...
I'm not sure if it's a bad time in gear or what I'm on the hunt right now for a new motor just in case any suggestions? and what year is acceptable or would it be cheaper to just have the motor rebuilt?
well I think my motor might have bit the dust today the mechanic came by pull the valve cover off notice that nothing was moving however we can see the flywheel spinning so I'm not a mechanic or anything and this does not sound like it's going to be cheap
I have another question as well when starting the vehicle should the fan move as well while cranking? I also removed the batteries to charge them individually as I'm not able to get it to crank anymore it just clicks
Good day and thank you for your help I will check the voltage in the morning as the truck is not close to me. I will report back I honestly just do not want to burn anything up. I will start with the suggested relay and fuses first
I am still working on getting it running. No luck yet and want to do the jump however it would be nice to have some type of illustration on jumping the truck to get it to start.
So far i have installed
-all fuse/relays
-primed fuel pump
-check voltage and wiring.
thank you for the response I will double check the pins tomorrow and I'll also test the voltage if I have the correct ones. were you able to find the information in regards to getting the motor fired up or should I just keep on with the relays?
