Got them all plugged in, from driver side toward passenger side they are connected 57f, 27k, 71c. Did I read they schematic correctly or did i reverse it? should they be from the drivers side toward passenger side 71c, 27k, 57f?
the plug is labeled 57f, pulled the wire from the plug, it was just shoved into the plug (the end put into the plug is pictured). Cleaned it up, looks to be copper.
What's going on here? This wire (looks like baling wire) runs from a plug, up and out of the doghouse to the windshield wiper control knob, where it was just hooked around the knob. Some sort of ground? Can I unplug this and toss it?
?
Yeah, I noticed that too, not many options. I haven't checked the tire dates yet but regardless I should probably swap them out. Just sucks buying tires when they end up costing half the price of the truck.
Thanks, that's a good idea. DLA warns buyers of the tires potential condition. Traveling home tomorrow, will complete preventative maintenance and tire checks, for sure.
Thanks for the welcome, Mogman. You guys are all clutch, this is great advice. Starting with a simple, chill trail / fire access road, Ponderosa way to Blackrock Campground.
Accepted delivery of my first HMMWV, is there something I should replace before hitting the trails? Any notorious weak links or maybe an upgrade the community favors? Seems badass as is, but figured I'd ask. Thanks!
