    M1101 Cargo Cover Brackets

I have a set of tan ones I'll never use since I don't have a cargo cover, and wouldn't mind not seeing in my shed. Feel free to PM me if interested.

    MEP 831A voltage gauge

Can confirm what Kurt remembers from messing with mine. Remove the gauge, and unscrew the ring from the back with a hammer & chisel. The seal in mine (which seemed to basically have been an old red rubber band) had actually fallen out at the top & was physically blocking the needle from moving...

MEP 803 return fuel line fittings

It is in fact 1/4" hose, BTW. I used EFI rated just cuz... hopefully it lasts longer. And cuz it's, like, 1 whole foot of it. FYI, that's actually the supply to the metering pumps. The small line off the end of the rail hooks to the return line from the injectors, though.

    NEW TO ME MEP-803A

I probably wouldn't, like, stick a pair of 14" tires under the unit so it's only 3' wide, but I think as long as you get the wheels outside the unit & don't go super tall, you're pretty safe. I, uh, know a guy... yeah, that's it... who may have had a little mishap trying to get his 802 onto its...

    NEW TO ME MEP-803A

Harbor Fright rinky-rink trailer, if you just want it mobile & don't want to actually tow it all over the place, IMO. Cheap-ish, good enough, and not hard to modify a little if you wanted to. If you wanted to get sorta fancier, it wouldn't take much of anything to fab a "trailer" out of what's...

    MEP 1040 Fix-up Thread

https://www.mcmaster.com/products/machine-mounting-pads/fail-safe-bolt-down-vibration-damping-mounts-with-threaded-hole/ Something in there? I was guessing they'd look a lot like the ones in my Jetski, and if I'm looking at the right thing in the pic I found, looks exactly like what I thought...

    Fuel Solenoid

Same guy, I bought the one that says it's for SA-3765 & -3799 solenoids.

    Fuel Solenoid

There's at least one person selling good ones on the 'bay... the solenoid design itself is pretty common, believe the boots were advertised for a 12V Cummins. My 802 came with the solenoid, blown apart on the floor of it cuz the hardware at the lever had come loose, and the boot was torn...

Any genset owners within 50 miles of Chambersburg depot?

I'm kinda near the depot, and kinda familiar with them. Not sure exactly what you're after, but I can tell you when I picked my unit up there, there was no going inside the yard, just hand the forklift guy the release, he brings it out of the yard & puts it on the truck.

    Best battery for a mep802

You're definitely right, but I don't think a pair of 51Rs is necessary to spin that little engine at 24v. Lots of similarly sized diesels crank just fine with a single 51R (25ish HP Kubota B/BX with a D902) I love overkill too & if it were a one-time purchase I'd pay for the overkill, but...

    Best battery for a mep802

Napa 7581R (Miata battery) is an AGM that's almost the same size as a 51R... it's a lot cheaper than an AGM 51R, and for bonus points it's a $9 core instead of $18.

Hydraulic repair Trailer TM * pics added*

I'm a noob at hydraulic piping, but from the looks of it I'd say it's a pipe flaring tool.

mep-804B control panel compatibility with mep-804A?

That sounds really awesome. And also really useless with only 1 of them. And, well, probably pretty useless for about all of us with >1 15kw unit, too...

mep-804B control panel compatibility with mep-804A?

Woof... I don't know if it'd work or not, but independent of that question... that's a spicy meatball. Even assuming you want the remote start capability that would give you, Kurt sells a remote start board for $500, that I can't imagine doesn't have better support than a DRS/Leonardo one that...

    MEP-803A Cogeneration/CHP Combined Heat & Power

I'm pretty sure that's really all someone did for the one in the preheater kit. I have one laying around, unfortunately it's laying next to the rest of a removed preheater kit.

    MEP803 120/208 Volts 3 Phase VS MEP804 240/416 Volts 3 Phase

I mean, my point was, wouldn't the motor not be running deadhead? I wouldn't think the motor would sit there running, spinning the hydro pump, and then only be loaded when you want to use it. I'd assume it sits there motionless, and when you hit the "smash" button, it starts the motor & sets...

    MEP803 120/208 Volts 3 Phase VS MEP804 240/416 Volts 3 Phase

I'm not a millwright, but wouldn't the motor usually be on demand? I.E. hit the compress button, the motor starts, and the "extend" valve is engaged?

    MEP 831A

I haven't looked in a bit, but a while ago someone in the 'bay was selling takeouts, that were supposedly tested good. But they were something around a grand IIRC, and I'd definitely agree with your latter sentiment. That money should handily buy the Mecc-Alte head & Kurt's board (and I'd call...

    MEP 831A

I'm not sure if the governor controller in the 400hz is the same just adjusted, or different... either way, they suck, buy one of Kurt's. If "All you need" is the inverter... well... I got some bad news. Look up how available they are, and how much. If you wanted to do something non-standard...

    New owner of MEP 802A

I've also never seen it done, but it doesn't seem very difficult, aside from the radiator I believe the entire 'power pack' is mounted on one plate. Unbolt, lift, drop, bolt, fab a few brackets. As said, the controls are there too, but much of the controls are unnecessary for the rest of us...
