Does anybody know where I can get a transfer case to transmission torque rod for a m1008. mine didnt have one and I broke my transfer case wheeling 38.5 bogger tires.
I ran my feed line from the test port by the radiator overflow runs great. Checked the return hose from the turbo in a bucket and it had good flow. I had a 6 foot foot line made at the local kubota store for the feed line.
There is a test for plugs with them installed. Take a lighted tester put the point end to power and the ground clip to the terminal on the glow plug where the wire would hook up, if it lights up the plug is good if not its burned out. It saves some time. Take the same light tester and make sure...
My buddy has a 1028 truck with 20000 miles he took the axles out of and is parting out the rest . The springs are still there. I'm sure he would part them out for a small fee and you pay shipping. Scott
4 inch with 37 superswampers here with no rub unless in full turn with flex and then it only rubs slightly. My buddy has 38 thornbirds with 4 inch and rubs more but he also has more offset.
Does any one know if a DB2 5149 injection pump will work on a 86 6.2? I have a chance to pick a new one up for 300. I had a bad surging problem but it was fixed by changing the lift pump last night. The fuel pump arm pin bushing was half gone. Best 18 bucks I've spent runs way better but...
Dana 60's get the wobble from worn king pins and rod ends the steering stabilizers are needed to stop these. The steering stabilizer is probably original and worn. I would buy one of these before dumping money into other things. They are 31.00 and you need one if you have the wobbles.
If you had the vacuum pump hooked up directly to the transmission modulator and it still shifted soft try taking vacuum away and see if it shifts hard if it doesnt change it would most likely be either the modulator valve or govenor on the transmission if all the lines are good and you have good...
Just had the same problem with one of my trucks it was the govenor bad the teflon gears were still good but the springs must have been bad. Easy to change and fixed my quick shift from 1st to 3rd.
The mounts on the front are snow plow brackets. They were 9 1/2 inches from the ground at the bottom hole now they are 16+ to the bottom hole. I will have to make some lowering brackets to keep plowing that I can remove to wheel. When you do your lift you will need longer brake lines or to...
I just finished my 4 inch lift with 16.5 x 10 rims and 36" hummer tires and it looks great. Did you put the spacers on the transfer case skid to the bottom of the frame to drop the transfer case? This helped with the short drive shafts on mine. Scott
