For all out there that did not have the time for doghead's mod or do not want to modify the starter relay, the minimun thing you have to do is change the original relay for the same model, is like $8 dlls vs big melting nightmare, it's a no brainer :cookoo:
So I read some threads about this PVC or CDR valve and still is not clear, I took it out and oil came out from inside (10 mml), I blew in the inlet and there isn't any restriction, zero differential pressure. Seems to me that any exhaust from the oil cap will go in to the air intake.

If you have the glow plugs still with the controlling card, then when is hot the plugs are not coming, isn’t it?
If this is the case another cause could be the batteries or the starter, without glow plugs your diesel engine relies in the compression you can produce cranking, for that you need...

I found the same brake powder and metal oxide on the rims, I put 2000 miles on this truck the first two weeks, just to...
Finally I clean the interior so good anyone could eat from the dash if you want, a couple days later I found a dust layer all over the dash, I had a closet look because it was shine and gray-black colored and I can confirm is brake pad material, I check my fenders an all the plastic...
Steering and breaks are working good, I used a quart steering fluid every week (500 miles) to refill it to give and idea of the dripping. I put ½ quart of lucas steering stop oil and the leak slow down pretty good but still dripping.
Of course is annoying having oil inside the compartment...

Spend 120 days on the road with Dave and The Pegger (jeffuehrer) as they make their way around the country. Armed with a CUCV M1009 military blazer, generator, sub-zero sleeping bags, laptop and cameras. The first of it's kind "trekumentary" captures the true spirit of...
