Gravity. Does the tote(s) have valve at bottom? Most do. You should be able to see the water layer at the bottom of the tote if there is that much water.
Tap the valve slowly and collect the non oil junk that comes out. Dispose of it properly and process oil as normal.
We must assume that any gas we get is contaminated with alc.
Mix the gas with wmo. Let the ethanol separate, let it attract some water. Then let that mess settle out. Drain it off and get to filtering what's left. It's all good.
I have found no need to heat when blending with gas. Mixing gas into WMO causes the contaminates to begin to separate and settle out. Give it time (two weeks in the sun is good), and your filters wil last a lot longer.
Heating oil will cause the contaminates to settle out, and help it flow...
No matter how much diesel you add to WMO, it will never be as thin as diesel. Not to say it has to be that thin but gas does give a lot more bang for your buck. Do be careful not to get it too thin and risk scoring your IP.

Gasoline also seems to have the effect of helping junk and suspended contaminates fall out of suspension. After they fall out, the filtering process goes much smoother and the filters last much longer.
My successful use has been 80 used motor oil and 20 parts gasoline. Old stale gas is fine, stinky stale gas is not as good.
Blend uMO and gas really well. Let set there to five days. Drain any water and sludge off of bottom. Filter through one micron filter. If you can locate 2 micron spin...
I'm a blender, not a 'fuger so my answer is swayed by that. It is my belief that the gasoline that I blend into the WMO allows the detergent to release its grip on what it is keeping in suspension. The detergent is probably still there.
You've asked a good question but it appears to go a bit...
I used to heat oil in an open top barrell to get the water out. It scared me.
I now blend with rug, settle, drain sludge and water off of bottom and the pull through filter rack.
If you must use heat to dewater, consider a 50 gallon water heater that is attached to another tank pulling a...
We use a couple of household string wounds and then a seriers of Luber-Finer filters on 24770 (from memory) filter heads.
We blend raw waste motor oil with 15 or so percent regular gas added. Bubble with a tube attached to air compressor to fully blend. Let settle three days. The junk...
Reply try #2.
Thanks for the update. 7.5 gallons rug in fifty gallons total mix might work. 7.5 gallons added to 50 gals rug won't work (very well). The guys that report success with your motor (or is it engine?), report 40 WMO/10 rug. The results you experienced were based on too thick of...
I don't run napa but start digging around Fil3674 and then check the specs on FIL3528. That should get you close. A 3 nominal typically gets you in the 10 abs range. Probably tighter than your current filter.
Vacuum gauges - picked up at the local ag store. Lets you know which filter in the...
Keep the base you have now. Pick up a Napa 4770 (wix 24770). Different threads but it has two ports in and two ports out. It comes with plugs for the extra ports. We'll use the bonus ports for vacuum gauges later. These bases are often back ordered but try anyway.
Fresh pump gas is fine...
