M1008 Hard Start
Update: I think I found the issue to be glow plugs. Not 3 months old. They seem to be getting 24v to them. Now I'm going to replace the glow plugs and do the 12v tap for the glow plug relay. Thanks everybody -

Update: no dice. I cleaned the contacts on the glow plug card with an eraser. Same results. I'm going to start fresh with testing the glow plugs this weekend. I just replaced them 6 weeks ago. If I'm burning thru them that fast then I've got another problem. The CUCV is gunna have to take a... -

I'm going to try to isolate the system tomorrow. It was 73 today. I haven't had the GP controller card in since the glow plug system went crazy. I'll clean the contacts and try again to see if it resolves the wait light. I completely understand the risks involved with ether and glow plugged... -

I recently got a M1008.. I noticed I was leaking fuel from the pump. All the lines were dry. I ended up replacing the pump with Delphi MF0030. Put new hoses on, replaced the filter, and bled the system. Fired right up. Drove it around everything was good. I went to start it after work and the...
