Hey guys, one of my new to me M1165A1's has significant damage to the bed and floor under where the driver seat would be. What's the best way to repair this damage?
Hey guys,
Looking for a rear driver side X door for my M1165, preferably in Florida but fine with shipping if located elsewhere. Let me know what you have!
I'm planning to buy a LVOSS and bracket to take measurements off of and will be making my own replicas, probably going to be a couple months until I get around to it though, unfortunately projects seem to be piling up faster than I can find the time to get them done at the moment.
Yes, ASA plastic is the best option for print this in, also the best option for the bracket IF you are going to use printed brackets, I still think aluminum is the way to go though. Last I saw he wasn't specifying what type of plastic he was using.
Another thing with ASA plastic is it has very...
Thanks for the heads up, I just realized that last night and ordered new CDR valves and the associated hoses (while im in there might as well go for new!) for both trucks today. Luckily I've only run one truck for about 5 minutes and the second for about 30 seconds so far (needs a fuel tank).
Awesome, thank you for your advice. So it's putting it in fording mode that pressurizes everything?
I guess I'll just buy a new CDR valve, connect it to my disconnected hoses, and I'm in business!
I've seen those, it looks like he's using printed brackets however, I don't know what type of filament he's using but I don't know that I'd trust their strength driving around at highway conditions after baking in the summer sun for an extended period of time.
Hey guys,
I recently got two M1165's that originally had the fording kit but have lost much of it in the demill process, valve removed, exhaust removed, disconnected hoses in the engine bay, etc. I see lots of information on adding the fording kit but not much on removing/discontinuing it. I...
I'm working on making some up with proper metal brackets (no one else seems to offer this) but it's going to be a little while still before I get around to finishing them up. Unfortunately I have far too many projects at the moment. Will probably offer them for sale once their done and release...
Your layer height will make a bigger difference in quality than the nozzle size. Going up in nozzle size will also increase part strength as you will be getting thicker layers.
If you are using standard filaments (not fiber filled, glow in dark, etc) you shouldn't have clogging problems with a...
