My deuce air reservoir is leaking. I found a NOS pair for sale in Columbus, OH. I can only drive that far on a Sunday and he's not available on Sunday. Anyone able to pick them up for me? Especially anyone who regularly travels to Cincinnati, that would be ideal for me to pick up. But I can be...
My Bluetooth board finally arrived but it contained NO documentation. I'd like to do a little testing outside the deuce before I assemble everything. For that purpose, I'm thinking I'll buy a 24V AC adapter and use it as a power source. I see they are available in different amperage ratings. Can...
I had to check the date on the video,; really surprised it was 2021. Back in 2009-10 these trucks were selling for $600 or less in some auctions, so I kind of expected this video to be from back then.
Hmm, I did a rebuild a few years ago and this is exactly the problem I ended up with. Wonder if this was my failure point. I still have the bad airpack in a box somewhere. Out of frustration I just bought a new one.

I think this
I think this is the image from the TM that will show me which wires are for what in the cable between the VIC-1 and the bluetooth board. Still a lot to figure out and test. Several audio wires here. I only see one "mic" but right above it is field telephone line. Maybe that's what...
This may be a better Bluetooth board because amongst the "field applications" it includes headset. Looks like the minimum purchase is 10 though.

My intention here is to build a modular box that will connect to my VIC-1 system and act as a Bluetooth connection for iphone, so I can 1) conduct phone calls (via bluetooth) over my VIC-1 headset and 2) listen to music over the VIC-1 headset while driving (again the music coming from the phone...
Obviously you do have some rust issues with those pics, but one of the deuces I bought was filled with off-road diesel which is dyed red. Came that way from Fort Knox.
