Awesome ride. Saw one come up a few months ago but I was in the market for a M1009 again so I will have to wait. Thanks for the great photo documentation!
The first time around? About $850 including exhaust. I spent about another $100 this time with the exhaust elbow and different K&N. A couple of 'T' clamps also. It's definitely worth the $ and time.
Thanks :) On another note, the previous owner had installed power windows and locks. When I bought it they didn't work but that's fixed now. Initially I thought I would just tear them out. No deal, I don't miss swerving all over the road trying to roll down the passenger's window. Electric...
The inside is about normal. A small amount of rust on the floor and cracks where the rear seat mounts. Passenger's seat is in great shape while the driver's seat needs help. I will be bedlining the inside before I start on it's mods. Pics when I do.
No you wouldn't.... You need the turbo :) I see you have an 05 GTO. Just sold my 06 back in April. We still have my wife's 05 MBM M6. Are you on LS2GTO.com?

Resolved the problem. Guy that rebuilt the driver's side alternator didn't get it right. Not sure yet what he did wrong but I replaced it with another alternator I had that was working when I took it off. I had the other one rebuilt at Roger's Automotive in Greeley CO. Stay away from them...
There is voltage with the truck off and the same voltage with the truck running. Tried bypassing the fuseable link with no change in voltage. On the 2 wire plug going to the alternator I have 6.xx volts when it is running.
Yes it is an isolated ground military alternator and yes I have the case ground going to the stud on the intake manifold. I have not checked the fuseable link yet so I will do that when I go home for lunch. Will update later. Thanks
Hello all. I am new to this site but not CUCV's. Bought a blazer to replace my last one which was stolen. It had been converted to 12v single alternator, 2 battery system. The guy had actually done it correctly but I wanted it in stock config. Changed everything back and found that one...
