Hey if you welded angle onto the container sides so that it lipped over the bedrails it could be watertight and removable. Not that you will ever want to remove it but someone else may somedayand that would save alt of cutting and grinding.2cents

My deuce usualy runs around 160 with the fuel turned up and winter cover open. And she doesn't get much past 200 hauling 5 yards of gravel from the pit 10mi away in August.
You'll be happy to know that she has no trouble pushing the heaviest rain-drenched snow. In fact, I was pushing my piles back with little to no effort.
