today I used my m1031 as a lawn tractor tire bead breaker...worked great!...wish I could get rid of the front end death wobble so I could use it more often! it still does it even after I changed to .373:1 differentials for the highway
Wow is all I can say! You guys are aces. AZ Duece, you mean your shop has good enough light to see where the wire is clamped? My arms arent long enough to see that!

Hello,
I leave my driveway and head down the road 1/4 mile and the diesel knock goes away i figured because she warmed up...the other day it did not go away and had it all day. other than cold start solenoid, is there an advance type mechanism that effects the pump? I will check the TM's but...
If you ever had a chevy civy diesel then you know that the 12v starting system sucks....Just thought I would throw my twop cents, with the 24v starting system, never had a prob with winter starts, even on the coldest mornings...provided of course that the glow plug system is working or manualled....

Hello Gents,
I wonder if anyone knows where to find out what kind of signal train the 'tach' lug on the right hand alternator puts out? Can a non oem tack be hooked up there? Did the civy version of the 6.2 have a tach? Is there a manual for the STE/ICE? I bought one and was dissapointed when...
true enough the ground is through the body of the starter, if the mounting flange is totally crudded up, clean it and make sure its bolted in place well. On my CUCV, there is a solenoid that sends 24v to the solenoid on the starter, (a 12 volt coil solenoid from the ign switch that sends 24...

looks like a transistor to me and the thing above it looks like a diode, if the diode went it could have fried the transisitor...but it looks like something in the control went to ground, then went open after the smoke was let out. good luck
