I have owned and tagged more than 10 military vehícules in maryland with out any problems ever. All paperwork from government none said off road use only I have had 2.5 tons 5 tons and fmtvs
ok i have had nothing but problems with this dual voltage stuff and I'm thinking about losing the 12volt side as its all lights except starter switch all lights on my truck are led omni volt anyway. does anyone have any thoughts about this? or has anyone done this already?
Ok I started this thread so we could clear up the differences to answer the why more hp. I said before its more fuel and the bigger turbo. put an LDS big whistler on your truck and turn up your fuel screw and you will get the same hp. We have played with these trucks swapping parts around and...
Thanks for speed updates - aspann I noticed you pointed out I'm not an experienced driver ? Is there an experienced driver switch in the cab? Where is it located? I have to drive the truck for 16 hrs I would think some where along the way I can hit the switch because I will have gained...
Just a thought but your exhaust pipe may be corroded enough inside that it is interfering with the sound it would only take a min to unhook it and look in with a flash light.
I use the square u bolts from the bottom up and make matching plates like the five hole ones on the m105 and weld them to the axle. This gives more clearance under the axle with out damaging u bolt ends and provides a lot of strength. Hope this helps.
