I have Progressive for the Deuce and one of our infrequently used cars. It's $380/year for the Deuce and it is a $250K/$500/$250K policy. They knew exactly what it was and had no issues insuring it. I opted out of comprehensive and collision coverages to keep the cost down.
Progressive is...
Even diesels with glow plugs are unhappy about cold. My '83 300D starts instantly even in the cold, but it will cough quite a bit for about a minute until things get moving. Same with my Cub Cadet tractor, and the same with the Deuce, though the Deuce does not have glow plugs. It's really...
We got home just after 3:45. Thanks again to everyone! Sorry we didn't get to meet up with anyone during the journey. It probably cost about $675 total for the trip, which I think is cheaper than delivery, plus I got lots of driving experience.
Here are some pictures:

We had an uneventful day up to a campground in Petersburg, VA. Our day got cut short by a burned out headlight. Hopefully we can be on the road by dawn and home in PA before dark tomorrow. We are going to take I-95 to I-270 to I-70 to I-81.
If anyone has a headlight along our route please...
Well, it's time for my journey to begin. My wife and I leave today to pick up the truck in SC. Hopefully we will return on Sunday with the Deuce.
We have two options for the return route, one is I-81 and the other I-95. I am currently leaning towards I-95 because it is the flattest road...
The title is finally in, and it's time to go get the beast. Pick up will be next Friday or Saturday afternoon with a projected ETA at home base sometime Sunday afternoon/evening. I'm excited, but at the same time incredibly nervous, mostly because I'm going to stumble a bit before I get the...
Thanks for the update and thanks again for the pick up!
I don't suppose you could throw some shrubberies back there, make a neat portable waterscape?
Someone may have picked up the truck today, but I don't know for certain. His inbox is full and I don't have any other contact information. If you're reading this, please call me so I know what's going on. You can call at any time that's good for you.
I will send some folks that PM'd me a...
I just got my paid in full invoice for the truck, so it's ready for pick up. I've sent PM's to those of you that replied.
It wouldn't hurt to have some alternates in case there is a problem, so if you can help out, please send me a PM.
Oh my it's been a while since I've been on here. It's also been a long time since GL took my money and have yet to produce a vehicle.... :x
Anyway, when the time comes, the Deuce is at Fort Jackson in SC and I will probably need someone to get it off the base for me and store it until later...
