I forgot to post a follow up after my kids school activit. The end result was I found parking easly and a couple fellow army guys thought it was cool other than that no isues.
I don't have time to try and post photos right now but I plan to. I think every body that was their had a lot of fun I certainly did. I wish I could be their next year but this time next year I will be back in Idaho. Maybe if money allows I will try to comeback next year. This event was more fun...
This tread is awesome people are always asking me what I do with my duce. When my company 572 MICO decied to hall mulch for the out side of our building I got a call at 8pm the night before because all our fmtv's were broke or otherwise in use. It only took me 2 1/2 loads to mulch around our...
If that's possible I might have to break down and by a 5 ton. I have been wanting a wrecker been thinking mostly on the 800 based ones. I did not know they had a sprag in them. I figured that since they were about the same age as the m35a2 they would have the same air shift transfer case. So if...
Close is always good. The armed forces day was fun and close. This fort wording this is going to be the first camping trip I have been on since I got in the army and the first one my wife has ever been on. It will be fun to go camp with out the army spoiling the fun. The army seems intent on...
I your M54's oil gauge is not reading right but your engine temps are what they should be its probably your gauge. Boyce told me that the oil pumps don't go out very often on M35's, the gauges do. I would think that because a M54 has so much in common with a m35a2 it would be applicable to your...
on that note my M35a2 is now fully operashional agin. I replaced the fule gaged and the oil presher gage and she is now 110% ready for any thing. the extra 10% is for a new up grade I just installed. I just put in a windsheld washer pump and sprayer. I had the kit for a few years i just finaly...
I gess the video that I was trying to reply disapeared affter I made my first post. The video I saw was of a french truck trying to climb up a hill that was covered with loose dirt and it was strugling. Mud is mud I would agree that the mudhole you menchioned would be difficult for any thing...
I don't know how heavy that thing is but a m35a2 could kick its but. I have gone up way steeper hills on looser stuff and my truck did not even flinch compared to the struggle that thing is having.
That's cool I kinda figured we would have a bunch of M35's they do seem to be the most common MV's. I will be at the lacy park and ride as instructed at 0730 to convoy out.
