I already found out that the "rebuilt" 3-53 that came with my goat had internal parts loose and a bolt missing here and there. Found out yesterday that the cam bearings spun in the block! Very disappointing!
Also, had a NOS tailgate in the trailer. Somebody stole it! Talking about...
I have the cab/cockpit for a Vietnam era Huey. It's stripped and in rough shape, but I thought it would make a neat treehouse for my grandchildren. But as of late I got to thinking it would be fun to find missing body parts, put in on a trailer, and tow it to airshows and such for Veterans and...
Anybody know what happened to the old Gamma Goat site? I knew it was shutting down for a revamping, but I've heard nothing about the new site????
Thanks,

Howard Hammonds
Naw, a friend of mine bought the goat I have straight from Howard in the good ole days. I didn't deal with Buddy til Howard had his stroke. (or whatever it was) Back then he seemed to be a fair and straight shooter. I haven't been there since Howard died.
Strange thing.....I...
Hey Bill, I made many a trip to Greenville, KY to Howard Hammonds place when I was building my M37. He had a bunch of Goats there at the time. As a matter of fact I wound up with one of his goats (minus the motor) about 6 months ago. I'm rebuilding the motor now. I'm glad to hear you've got...
old vehicle
I have a model 1917 machine gun cart, but no mule to pull it. So it's not a daily driver! But if you've got the mule, I've got the cart, gun, and harness!

hardtop
Thanks for all the replies. I was concerned about those two loops. I'm not going to start cutting on the windshield to make the hardtop fit. So if anyone is interested in a hardtop to restore, I have one for sale. I favor canvas anyway.
Thanks again for all the advice.

Does anybody know what, if any, modifications have to be made to my M37 windshield or cab in order to install the military hardtop? I know holes have to be drilled, but are there any parts that need removed or altered? :?:
Thanks

m101a1 casting
I suggest you go to the G503 site and scrollow down to the 1/2 ton trailer heading. There are a couple of threads there about M101 parts.
Check it out.

Goat
Hi Chris! Good to hear from you. Is that goat up and running? I always wanted one but always felt I was a little too mechanically and technicaly challenged to work on one. My M37's OK. I've had to "bring it back" a couple of times since you saw it. I'm working on a 151 now and...
howard's
Looks like some enterprising person would have jumped in and bought a lot of stuff. There's a new dealer in Ohio I'm seeing talked about a lot. He's supposed to have a lot of
151 parts. That kind of "smells" like Howard's loot.
Yeah, Kenny. I've been a member for a good while...
I pulled out two NOS wheel cylinders from my parts stash today. I know m37 cylinders are either left or right. One of mine is marked with a big "L". The other one just has numbers. I'm afraid to "assume" that this one is for the right side. You know what happens when we assume!
I don't...
I couldn't have built my M37 without Howard's yard. My understanding is that he died. What's happened since. I heard Buddy was selling everything out as scrap. Anybody been up there since? Did anybody manage to buy a lot of the salvage?
