Our GMC CCKW 'Split' has a problem with the transfer case. I can go to third gear, speed about 10 mp/h, transfercase-gear will jump out every ten feet or so. Somebody told me because of the torque bars are having play so the rear axles were coming foreward which had caused a bearing inside the...
Sorry about the language, as of being Dutch, not excactly understanding every (technical) word what is written, unable to figur out where to find something what will tell me how to operate or fix the glowing system of a Chevy K30. We recently bought a M1008 straight from the USArmy in germany...

The starterrelais off my FV432 only says "click" when trying to start the verhicle. I think it needs a rebuild but I have no idea where the startermotor is located and how to get it out. is there someone who can tell me? The APC is in the Netherlands.
Hi again. We're busy with a CCKW Tipper and it has a closed cab and winch. Now somebody came by and said the closed cab never had a Tipper body in WW2; it should be constructed afterwards. is this right and where is the proof??

Hello there
We just got a CCKW Shop Van with a special body of which we cannot find any picture on the www or in any book. The Van has a rounded roof and it is not collapsible like the 'normal' Shop Van. It is higher than the 'normal' Van, higher doors. (it also is not the Swiss version of the...
Just an oil change? We have more of these trucks and all have the clear yellowish oil in it and they all run perfect; one just had a trip from Holland to Italy.
Hello everyone. We're having a M925A2 with some transmission shifting trouble. When te cable at the pump is loose it seems to work perfect, just probably won't work when the truck is carrying a load. When the cable is attached it will shift from 1st to 2nd quite rough and eventually shift in 3rd...
It is an old wooden Uzi-shipping box. Now storage for whatever...
My name is still Scrambler because I keep my Jeep Scrambler and my other car is still the Hearse... :jumpin:
Yes, it is me.
The bag on the front tow hook has nothing serious in it. We've put it there about 10 years ago together with other bags and things and it still is there....
Update on my Ambulance: I found the previous civillian owner who had it for a month or so; he said he purchased it from the USAF on a base in Iceland... he shipped it to UK where I traded it from him for a small tracked vehicle. It did have a PTO winch on it but he took it off and I've put a...
Hello, I have a question about a 931. Will the differentials be interchangable from the 931 with 14.00 Super Singles and the 1100-20 dual wheels?. And is it possible to put 14.00 Super Singles on a 931 truck which is originally equiped with the 11.00 dual wheel setup?
Greetings from Holland...

Where did all the Vietnam vehicles go? Did they stay in Vietnam or were they shipped back to the USA or Europe?
A friend of mine bought recently en few M52A2s and a M51A2 and a M54A2; they were sold by DRMO/DRMS in Germany about 10 to 15 years ago, all are overhauled in Bublingen, Germany in...
