Looking for a shop that can do some work on my M109A3 Deuce. Just some basic stuff. Replace an axle boot, perhaps the brake lines and or air lines and to give it a good once over.
Thanks

So the second day started about the same time (5 p.m.) and it was cooler so this made for much happier repairs.
Made a cradle to help position the "new" transmission
Friend that came over to help (easy to work on but HEAVY parts)
getting the "new" one into position and on the table...
Transmission swap - Thanks to maxspeed3 for the help and tie6044 for the parts
Little update. Major repair.
I did a 780 mile round trip over 2 days and had a little mishap.
On my way home (about 3 hours from home) I started hearing a clicking sound coming from the transmission while...
Unless in its life before me it was abused, then no idea. My only guess was a defect in the gear from the start.
I was on flat a road, not towing anything, gear oil was at the correct level and not being stupid with the throttle.
So if it was something I did I sure can not figure it out.

A little more info.
Yes it is suppose to move like that (duh moment after I looked at it more closely)
With the clutch in I can rotate the bottom shafts in both 4th and 5th and I do not see any missing teeth. The noise I heard sounding something like what is in the video but only...
In the last hours of a 768 mile trip I started to hear a chattering noise from 5th gear when coasting.

I am guessing that the...
Tires are on.
You can see how taller they are here.
Getting there
Again you can see the height difference
Last set of duals about to go on
Happy truck with new shoes
Driving on radials rather than bias tires feels way different. Turning at slow speeds is about the same...
I saw that there was talk of a NAPA part number for the non air switch. But do they sell a switch that works with the air that is a replacement for the OE air switch?
Thanks
