Still would like to know the correct spec on the hydraulic fluid if anyone knows since I will be adding to the reservoir tank and would like to ensure compatability. Thanks.
Trying to find out the proper hydraulic fluid and viscosity rating for my multifuel LD465 hydraulic pump-it powers a hydraulic ram steering configuration on my rig-the hydraulic pump looks original to the LD465 so I want to match the right fluid type. Anyone know the original specs on this?
Great responses. Thanks. Sorry, that is all I have for photos for now until I get the rig transferred back to my location. Still sitting on my tractor trailer up north-need to get a DOT permit and pilot car to move it. Will post some field photos once I get it rolling-want to do some...
Would also appreciate any additional comments on the turbocharger....I'm surprised that it doesn't boost the horsepower any more than that....several people who have done the additon have told me that the horsepower improvement is dramatic.....thanks again......
Here is the rig the motor is in; commonly known as a Rollagon. So, do the spin on adapter oil modifications provide immediate oil pressure upon starting? I'm new to this site and appreciate all the responses and assistance.
I just acquired an off-road vehicle that is equipped with a LD Continental series military Multifuel motor that was being run on diesel. I am new to these motors so please excuse my ignorance. I am told that it is common for the oil pressure to take 10-20 seconds to come up on these motors...
