    Number stenciled on air cleaner

It might be the date it was serviced. My blazer has a date in the wheel wells and “WB”, probably for wheel bearings.

    NV4500 Swap - Can I use a 96 Chevy 3500 donor truck?

I’ve used 1996-1998 transmissions and bellhousings. I think the bolt pattern on the transmission to the bellhousing is different as well for the 1995 and older vs the 1996 and newer models.

    NV4500 Swap - Can I use a 96 Chevy 3500 donor truck?

The np208 will bolt up to the nv4500. If you are using a stock bellhousing the slave cylinder on the passenger side of 1995 and earlier models may interfere with the front driveshaft on a CUCV unless the truck has a lift kit. I have read that from other people but have not tried for myself. I...

    The next Project an ASMH

I'm not quite sure on that. I thought I had some more pictures but can't find them. I believe some of the WWII heavy wreckers had them stored in the same spot so the idea was probably borrowed from those.

    The next Project an ASMH

I have seen a few wreckers modified to store the ground spades in that spot. I would guess they are for that.

    1986 M1009 Rear Light Nightmare

    I’d check your grounds.

    M37 Instruments and switches

The panel pictured is from an m37b1 and would be correct for his truck since it’s a 1958 model, they had the smaller dash lights.

    M37 Instruments and switches

The original gauges have glass openings behind the panel for light to shine in and illuminate the gauge faces. The 2 upper lights would light up behind the panel and not show through on the front. The middle light is the high beam indicator and would light up with the small red dot.

Can someone identify this engine and where to find repair info?

    It is a 5-ton bridge truck, m139 or m328.

Can someone identify this engine and where to find repair info?

Looks like a Continental R6602 engine, used in m39 series 5-tons from the early 50s to early 60s. M54 is the cargo truck, m52 is a tractor, m62 and m543 were wreckers.

    NV4500 questions

1985 and up square body trucks had a hydraulic pedal assembly. I have one in my CUCV blazer with a nv4500

Need help Identifying this Deuce and a Half

Looks like a m54 5-ton, it has been converted to a multifuel engine.

    NV4500 Swap into Stock 6.2 Diesel / TH400 / NP208 M1028/M1008 - COMPLETED

Hydraulic clutch wasn't used until 1985 so 1984 trucks probably won't have the dimples for the clutch master cylinder.

    M1009 wheel width?

    It should be 8”.

    2 1/2 ton windshield frame to m37

I’ve installed a couple sets of Korean windshields in m37s with no issues. As mentioned above some 2.5 tons had wipers offset to the center of the truck and are not as good a fit when it comes to the vacuum line location in a Dodge. The windshields with offset wipers were on earlier deuces.

    2 1/2 ton windshield frame to m37

The outer windshield frames are different.
