    What gear ratio?

    LOL, I think I’ve got it. From what I’ve read about the 10 bolt so far, isn’t the 10 bolt basically a dana 44? Differential wise?

    Well I have a stock 10 bolt 3.07 rear diff and th400 tranny combo, and today I thrashed a spider gear in the gov-lok. Can the gov-lok gears be replaced without removeing the locker? Also, I run 35inch tires, and I would like to re-gear. Has anyone re-geard to say a 4.56 in a 10 bolt/th400 combo...

    M1009 shifting issues, need help.

    Ok, sounds like some good troubleshooting ideas. The one thing we did change was the torque converter. When we first pulled the tranny, a few of the welded nuts were broke, so we went to Advanced auto parts and bought one. It seems to be functioning ok, just the downshifting sucks.

    Hi, I have a quick qustion about the shifting of my 85 CUCV M1009. I baught a M1009 with no engine and tranny in it that was in alot better shape than mine, I swapped my engine and tranny into it, and ever since, it doesnt downshift correctly.
