    But what if I have the chassis number? Or maybe I can connect it to the soldier driving it? It was a guy named Gustav Wollin, I was told, and he was in 82:nd or 101:st Airborne. Is thera any register that is officaial today maybe? Thanks for any help.

    Hi there, Anyone who knows the difference between the id. plates on the glove compartment lid from year to year. I just received a couple very nice new ones from MD-Juan that was for 1943 (those etched zinc one's), but my MB is a late 44 - is there any difference mentionable? Thanks Fred
