Not sure how long but even it took a couple of weeks on and off it would not matter I have tubs of welding rods lying about so it would not cost me anything apart from time and i enjoy doing this kind of crazy stuff :-)

SAE 50 is a straight grade and 80/90 is a multi which has viscosity modifiers in it which allows the oil to be thinner when cold allowing better cold lubrication properties , once it warms up the additives maintain the viscosity better than a straight grade thats why straight grades were dumped...

At the moment they are full of junk only picked the duece up two weeks ago , some oil seals rags random tools etc. Found a brand new cckw manual in the glove box which was nice as my co driver at the time is doing one :wink:
