Getting started back on the project. Still looking for a set of air tank brackets. Hopefully we can see some results here before long. Been a cold winter in KY.
Been thinking about the air tanks and how to get them out of the way. I wonder if the side of the brackets without the tanks on them could be unbolted and bent down to get enough room for the pump or a drive shaft. Anybody had any luck with this cuss/discuss.
So I have decided to go without the brush guard and the back window guard. I removed the cab lights so we could paint the roof too. The gaskets for the cab lights looked a little rough. Anybody know where to get some new ones. Also removed the air horn. Looked like the gasket used between the...
The m915a1 is gonna get a fresh coat of paint. I already have the paint scheme that I plan on going by.
I just wonder what people think about loosing the grill guard on the front and the screen on the back glass.
here is what it is suppose to look like when done.

I am thinking about hooking the pump direct with a love joy. Seems like the best way.
I might be interested I those tank brackets. Let me know a price.
i took some pictures with the pump right behind the output of the pto and as short at the pump it it just barely squeezes between the pto and the air tank. I also took some pictures with a drive shaft held in place and it looks...
So here is where I am so far. Since my pto clutch/collar was the bolt on type instead of the set screw type I drilled and tapped a hole for a 1/4-20 set screw in the collar since i could not tap the shaft since it was hardened. I still have to hook the oil line up to the pto which brings to my...
I appreciate the info. I see where you are now and I bet it would be a chunk of change to get it up here. I guess I will put it in a lathe and cut it out. I have to wonder why they are different. And if I do cut it out will it still allow the pto clutch to engage far enough like it should. Can...
My drive clutch is not recessed. And when I slide it on it rest against the lock ring. I wonder if they are different. The bolt on type would rest against the bearing when it was tight. Not allowing the bearing to move and there would be no need for the lock ring. The new style since it is only...
Pulled the bed off over the weekend and I pulled the cover off the pto shaft. Cut a new gasket out for the pto and I had my Indian head there to coat it.
I stuck the pto coupling up on the shaft and I tried to put the bolt in and all the threads were gone. Well not gone they just weren't there...
