Been a while I have a 5 ton with a T1138 which is split in half. And need a take out. I have in my possession a T138 for trade or out Wright purchase. I am located in Central Oklahoma. Any help would be welcome
Nice wheels!!! are you going to paint them, what color?
Looks like some did the same thing i did turn my 10 bolt together 5 ton rim and turned them into a 20!!!
Roger that!!! It will be a 4X4 and a min of a 9ft bed( hopefully i can still put the spare behind the cab and not be to long)!! I though of keeping 6X6 but i have another project for the rear axle and I do not haul anything which will require the set up of the 6X6. If a load is to heavy I just...
LOL I fixed Maddawg LOLif only it was that easy LOL!!!!
Now the question will be use the Deuce frame or the Fuso frame???
going to have to an ADVantage and DIS-Advantage graph for both,
I thunk it will be easier to drop the 5.9 cummins in the Fuso and add the axles and the...
Maddawg that is an awesome pic!!! Never seen that before. I actually called Urban gorilla the people that make the Fiberglass variant of the H1, About make a custom cab the conversation ended quick when they started talking $$$$$$. I even was thinking about doing a retro look of the old FC...
I found an old '98 International flat nose bus doens't have the much desired 1000 it is a model 545. Can't grip though i picked up the whole bus that runs drives , tagged, 78000 miles, for less than a good 5.9core to rebuild!!!
Still think of finding and OD Allison though
well back at it again and have finally found a 4dr Crew cab cheap enough and in good condition to get this project started back up, and a Bus with 12v 5.9 cummins and Allison automatic. The Mitsubishi Fuso crew cab will look good!!!. So i have discarded the H2 concept for this.
I did...
I have looked at the Isuzu, and Mitsubishi. crew cabs. Just can't find on that is not destroyed in the insurance pools and salvage yards. With 5.9 cummins it should be a little smaller and I probably will have a hump but it will be more in the back of the cab than in the front and nothing like...
yea it was cut back to the rear most cross member for the tanker bed and mounting junk they had. It is going to get cut even short when i am done with it.
I actually though using a FJ40 cab, but it is way to small inside. the H2 cab is bigger but has one of the same problems the fire wall sticks out to far. So I will make a cab like the h2 so i can have a flat unprotruded nose. and i will be able to extend it just a bit in between the doors to...
Hello I am new to join the form, but have read many of the post over the years and finally have my own to start modifying. I always have enjoyed the Bob and I love the LMTV's but you can't just buy those very cheap. So i have came up with a design of my own to try. I wanted 4 doors but a 4 door...
