As far as I know, there is no such thing as a four door CUCV pickup until the CUCV II, however I saw one going down the road in SD today. Either I am incorrect about the lack of a four door model, or someone made a pretty good replica. I wish I had been able to get a photo...
I would just do the ol jack it up and mark the driveline mark the tire trick. See how many turns the drive line takes to turn the tire and there ya go.
I considered going with Optimas. I have had them before in a couple of Broncos and a Mustang, but gas engines are a different story. I wish they made something Optima like, but with more oomph in the power department.
That looks good. The only other thing that I would point out is that if you use the factory top bracket with a battery of the right width, then the top edges of the battery fit nice and snug inside, so there is no possible way that the battery can move from side to side. I like the way you moved...
