yeah, don't use a wire wheel lol. jJust use a DA with 80 grit sandpaper to knock it down so its smooth. Looks like everything that was flakey or needed fixed you already have. so use what you have on there as a half assed base then spray over it.

So i ended up finding and buying it, its a Chieftain MK11 so not sure if it was a early one that the kept upgrading or a later one but the upgrades where done in the mid to late eighties. havent seen it in person yet. will know more when i go to get it.
