I’m helping out the event this year. Part of the show is military vehicle displays and a convoy. We are looking for more vehicles. Some fuel provided. You can register your vehicle here and details are there as well...
I’m restoring a WWII M10. Apparently the fuze box is almost identical. Anyone have one they don’t need? It’s the large tool box on front.

Went to start my m818 a couple days ago and it try's to turn over but won't. Looked at it closer today and here is the exact issue. IMO it has enough juice. The starter sounds strong but It's still not turning over the engine. you can watch the fan move a few inches when you hit the starter. The...
Ok thanks. Where are you getting the mineral oil and how much are you paying? I saw somewhere a guy using diesel fuel instead of fog oil.
Guess it's going to get red hot without the oil.
I've hooked up an air line to the starter air tank to fill it. So far it starts on the 2nd or 3rd try...
Ok, picked up a M3A4 smoke generator. Slowly learning through manuals / trial and error. Caught unit on fire briefly when I first started. Fixed bad float and tightened up gas lines. My current issues are as follows. Unit appears to overheat quickly. It will turn the housing for the ignitor...

Ok great, I got these here in Nashville on Craigslist. I was pretty sure they were halftrack but live and learn. I have no use for them but would be happy to trade for halftrack/ m20 combat wheels or just get my $ back out of them.

I was told that the early m34 had combat wheels. Here is a picture of one of two that I picked up. Can someone confirm this?

Thanks for the responses. The tranny is a eaton fuller but not sure which model.
Im looking at 2 tires on 3 axles. Don't want to spend any more $. I'm not looking for 70, that would push rpms too high I am looking for more power when hauling when I hit a good hill. I'm not looking to...
I imagine this has been discussed but I've not found the thread so... I want to single my rear axles by deleting 4 tires only. Keep the stock tires, not super singles. I use my truck to run around and pull a halftrack on a gooseneck trailer. It's has been upgraded to a modern tranny and will...
While its out of my experience on these vehicles I was told that you will need to be careful on pressing the gas. The added torque /power will tear up the differential. I know a few guys in the LAH reenacting group with these
